Version 0.3.0 release

Version 0.3.0 of the Cantonese keyboard for Android is available for download on the Android Market Tools category for free. This is a testing version and will expire on 1 May 2010.


New Features

• Learning of related words. Current selected candidate (child) and the left adjacent character (parent) will be stored. When the parent is inputted again, respective child will follow for fast selection.
  
• Options of candidates navigation and selection by hardware direction keys and track ball.
• Long press to toogle case of the pressed key for normal key keyboard layout.
  

Change

• Removed the 'Enter' key for the short message text view of the standard Message application. No more accidental sending.

Inheritance

• All features, terms and conditions of the previous version 0.2.1 apply.

Version 0.2.1 of the Cantonese Keyboard for Android is available for download on the Android Market Tools category for free. This is a testing version and will expire on 15 April 2010.



Changes

• Reordered the sorting sequence of candidates so that frequent characters will appear first on the candidate bar.
• Added an option to show or not show rarely used characters.
• Removed the 'Simplified' option of 'Candidates character type' setting, since it is not logical to show simplified Chinese candidates only for daily use.
  

Bug fixes

• Fixed the occasional jumping of candidates while scrolling the candidate bar.
• Fixed the listing of wrong selection history for the apostrophe key. (i.e. ' )
